Sharon M. Kwan
President and Founder
Sharon M. Kwan started her career in finance in 1995, as an associate for Royal Alliance. In her tenure, she discovered the importance of insurance in her field, but more importantly learned that reliable insurance was something that the community still needed. Then, Sharon obtained her licenses and began her career in finance. Since then, her experience with life and health insurance brought her closer to the community as she became an expert in the field.
Through the next six years, Sharon saw that there was a need for an agency that provided choices and a talented staff dedicated to making insurance simple and straightforward. In 2004, Sharon opened SMK Insurance Agency in mid-town Arcadia, offering variety to her customers for both personal and commercial lines of insurance.
Sharon's commitment to her clients proved to be an invaluable trait that has been adopted into the company's culture.

SMK Insurance Agency was founded in a small loft located in the heart of Arcadia, California by Sharon M. Kwan. Since 2004, the company has provided quality services to its customers by adopting a philosophy of "family" in its culture and way of doing business. What initially started as a local insurance agency catering to the businesses and households of Arcadia has become a familiar brand that the community has come to trust as their primary insurance agency.
